L'Occidental
L'Occidental is an independent portal dedicated to News in West Africa and the World. It has been necessary to create such a platform as the region lacks a convergent News Organ that informs instead of supporting propaganda used by some leaders for political instability. As we know, the international penal court has indexed political leaders and war sellers benefiting from the bloodshed in West Africa.
With little financial resources, L'occidental is trying to generate a regional identity through the internet. We are aware of the fact that more needs to be done, but it is always important to take the first steps. It is also true that, because of the lack of internet in the region, not everyone will get our message immediately. But here we also aim to capitalize with time.
After 5 years of working on this project, we have not been able to achieve the necessary to publish a print newspaper in the region but things are growing and we are sure that this will be done in the coming years.
